On 3 November 2026, SWG organised a stakeholder meeting in Negrevo, North Macedonia, within the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED REVIVE project.
The meeting brought together representatives of local authorities and stakeholders from the municipalities of Berovo and Pehcevo. It provided an opportunity to discuss the territorial analysis of the Malesevo region and its relevance to local development.
A key objective was to present and validate the territorial analysis, identify local development opportunities and challenges, and define the next steps for the transfer of REVIVE solutions. These discussions placed local priorities and cooperation at the centre of the meeting.
The discussion highlighted the importance of strengthening local partnerships and promoting local products and tourism. Together, these themes formed an important part of the conversation about sustainable rural development in the region.
Participants also discussed the use of digital tools to support sustainable rural development. Alongside local cooperation, products and tourism, this was one of the areas highlighted as the meeting explored development opportunities and the next steps for transferring REVIVE solutions.
