Educational Workshops with Stakeholders in the Pilot Area in Istria, Croatia

03/03/2026

As part of the Interreg Euro-MED REVIVE project, the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism organised two educational workshops in late February and early March 2026 within the project’s pilot area, with the aim of presenting the REVIVE Istria web platform and encouraging the active involvement of local stakeholders.

The first workshop was held on 26 February 2026 at the Business Incubator Verzi in Buzet, in cooperation with the Buzet Tourist Board, and was intended for private accommodation providers. The second workshop took place on 2 March 2026 in Cerovlje, co-organised with the Municipality of Cerovlje, and was aimed at agricultural producers from the pilot area, which includes the City of Buzet and the municipalities of Cerovlje, Lanišće, Lupoglav and Oprtalj-Portole.

The REVIVE Istria platform was developed with the goal of creating a “virtual community” that connects stakeholders, strengthens their mutual cooperation, and enhances the destination’s market visibility and competitiveness. During the workshops, participants were introduced to the platform’s features, with an emphasis on ways to increase the visibility and promotion of their products and services.

In addition to presenting the platform itself, the workshops also included a practical component – participants received guided, step-by-step support in registering on the platform and publishing listings, enabling them to join the digital community as easily and effectively as possible.

Additional workshops will be organised in the coming period across the pilot area to encourage further user registrations and continue strengthening the local network of cooperation through the REVIVE Istria platform.
