The workshop “Developing Community-Based Innovative Business Models for the Revival of Internal Areas in the Mediterranean – REVIVE” took place on 30 September 2025 at Europe House, Kriva Palanka, bringing together representatives from rural communities, agricultural cooperatives, institutions, and other key stakeholders.
The event focused on the role of digitalization in agriculture and rural development, exploring concepts such as smart villages, tokenization, IoT, and digital marketing as tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and sustainability. Participants were introduced to good practices from the Western Balkans and beyond, including precision farming solutions, e-commerce platforms, and digital assistants for producers. Through discussions and experience-sharing, the workshop highlighted how partnerships and digital collaboration can open new opportunities for rural economies and strengthen community resilience.
