On October 28th, a meeting with stakeholders from the pilot area of the REVIVE project was held at the Campo Tizzoro in San Marcello Piteglio municipality, Italy. The event was organized by the partners ANCI and CNR-IBE, in collaboration with the associated partner GAL Montagna Appennino.
Around 15 stakeholders attended the event, each active in the region in various capacities, including operators of agritourisms, farms, restaurants, and leisure and hospitality facilities.
The main objective of the event, in addition to promoting dialogue and exchange among local operators, was to discuss the creation and development of the Montagna Pistoiese Food Community. Stakeholders, in particular, shared their vision and goals for the community, highlighting the main current challenges and how the food community could help address them. Key elements of the territory’s agrobiodiversity were also analyzed, along with how the community could enable continuous connections among the various stakeholders involved.
