Project partner, the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG RRD), held a productive meeting on October 2nd, 2024 with municipality officials of Staro Nagoričane, North Macedonia.
Discussions centered on critical issues such as rural depopulation and the challenges facing internal territories. Together, we explored how the municipality, local enterprises, producers, and civil organizations can cooperate to create new business models. Emphasis was placed on the importance of infrastructure development in rural areas and the importance of providing the population with quality public services and the necessity of building capacities of the local administration.
We welcome the willingness of the remote rural municipality Staro Nagoricane, to participate in the future and upcoming activities under the REVIVE project!
