Constant communication and understanding with key stakeholders are crucial to the success of every initiative. SWG RRD team members, met with officials from the municipalities of Rankovce and Kriva Palanka, North Macedonia to discuss the future activities of the REVIVE project. These two municipalities are facing extreme depopulation, and skilled workers have out-migrated pursuing better opportunities.
Rural tourism, traditional food, cultural heritage and small musical festivals are the backbone of the economy of these rural municipalities. The municipality officials from the local economy development departments are ready to participate in the workshops and the adoption of digital products and services and are eager to help facilitate the dialogue in the local community.
