Balearic Islands Agency for Tourism (AETIB) Spain, partner of REVIVE project together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Balearic Islands regional government, on May 29th, 2024 organized in London a quality gastronomic experience named “A Taste of the Balearics”.

Many participants in the event enjoyed the gastronomic experiences provided by the chef Biel Llull, who performed a live cooking show with recipes and local products from the Balearic Islands.

Twenty agri-food companies from the Balearic Islands from various sectors such as wine, oil, cheese, salt, and almonds participated in the event. Some of these producers are active stakeholders of REVIVE project and took part in the pilot project activities that will be soon developed in Pla de Mallorca area by AETIB and Mallorca Chamber of Commerce.

“A key part of the drive by the Regional Ministry for Tourism, Culture and Sport, through the REVIVE Project, Next Generation EU Funds, and the Sustainable Tourism Tax, enables projects aimed at research, innovation, sustainable development, and the circular economy. Through the REVIVE Project we have new tools to promote cultural heritage and, at the same time, develop campaigns and projects that will benefit our local villages, their communities and industries.” stated James Bauza, councillor of tourism, culture and sport.
