The videos that were prepared in the frame of REVIVE pilot project at the island of Mallorca, on the production process of local products were showcased at the “f.re.r München fair”, one of the main international events dedicated to travel, leisure and active tourism in southern Germany. The Mancomunitat del Pla de Mallorca (one of the main stakeholders of the pilot project in Mallorca) that is the local authority representing the 14 municipalities of the Pla de Mallorca, was a co-exhibitor of the fair and exhibited the QR code of the videos produced by REVIVE in their stand.
The f.re.e München fair, which was held from 18 to 22 February, is a leading event in Europe that annually brings together thousands of visitors and professionals interested in holiday proposals, outdoor activities and tourist destinations. The goal of the stand of Mallorca, arranged by the Consell de Mallorca, was to give visibility to the attractions of the territory and its tourist offer linked to the rural environment, gastronomy, local culture and sustainable experiences. The participation of the Mancomunitat in this fair respond to the objective of positioning the Pla de Mallorca as a differentiated, attractive and sustainable destination, and of consolidating its presence in a very important source market.
