On Thursday, 12 February 2026, the REVIVE Istria web platform, developed within the Interreg Euro-MED REVIVE project, was presented at the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism in Poreč. The Platform was presented by Teuta Benčić to Institute’s researchers and other staff members.
Platform REVIVE Istria is designed with the aim of creating a “virtual community” within the project’s pilot area, which includes the City of Buzet and the municipalities of Cerovlje, Lanišće, Lupoglav and Oprtalj, while also being open to stakeholders from surrounding areas. The Platform connects the public and private sectors and encourages cooperation between agriculture, tourism and hospitality, creative industries and other sectors. The overall goal is to strengthen the local community, enhance networking among stakeholders and create new opportunities for collaboration and development.
The Institute of Agriculture and Tourism joined the Platform with the aim of sharing information on its activities and future collaborations with business stakeholders, contributing to cross-sector knowledge exchange and fostering local development.
The presentation also provided an opportunity to inform Institute staff members about the Platform’s features and the importance of active engagement in digital transformation and cross-sectoral cooperation.
