REVIVE project partner Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG RRD) organized meeting on 1st October, 2024 in Skopje, North Macedonia with co-funders of the AviFly Agro Drones, start up from Rankovce (Northeast region) North Macedonia engaged in agriculture and rural development through the implementation of innovative business models and uptake of digital technology, optimization and automatization.
SWG RRD team and young entrepreneurs discussed the current situation, startup culture, the acceptance of new technology in rural areas of Mediterranean. The potential of the development of Mediterranean Digital Innovation Hubs (MDIH) and international cooperation and clustering is more than needed in North Macedonia.
Through the development of the territorial business model, startups and already established companies will have the opportunity through collaborative and community derived ideas (products/services) to share and exchange practices with other countries within the Programme Interreg Euro-MED.
The Meeting concluded that digital and technological advancements will play a crucial role in strengthening local business models, reducing unemployment, and boosting sustainability.
