Representatives from municipalities, Central government institutions, academia and research, the private sector and NGOs were present at the first stakeholders meeting in Kriva Palanka within the scope of the project Revive. SWG, presented the idea, objectives and the future activities of the project, the issues and challenges that need to be addressed and the role of the community. The participants accepted the lead of SWG in the dialogue and they engaged in discussion on topics relevant to the project. They shared past project results, achievements, ongoing activities in the area and ideas related to the project scope.
Through exchange of experience and will to network the participants committed themselves and showed their motivation for the revival of the Northeast region of North Macedonia.

- 11:00 – 11:15, as foreseen in the agenda the participants arrived at the meeting
- 11:15, Mr. Ivan Tasev from SWG RRD, opened up the meeting and asked the participants to introduce themselves
- After the introduction, the presentation started, Mr. Ivan Tasev, SWG RRD presented the general objective, specific objectives, the scope of the project and also the activities and expected involvement of the potential actors from the region in the project
- Related to the work packages and future activities of the project REVIVE, the participants were asked to present their overall expectations of the project
- 12:15, The SWG RRD team and the participants of the workshop continued the discussion related to the general and local policies, implemented projects in the area, issues and problems within the community. The project idea and the REVIVE initiative was very well received and the participants started to share ideas about the possibilities for collaborative business models, expressed willingness to share their network and participate in workshops.
