Croatian Association for Tourism and Rural Development “The Village Membership Club” and the Congress Secretariat hosted numerous scientists and experts in the area of rural tourism, who participated at in the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism from 10 to 13 April 2024 in Split, Croatia.
An expert associate for EU projects from the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism (IPTPO) , Croatia showcased the REVIVE project as part of the exhibition of papers and presentations in the “Practice speaks” section.
Discussions at the congress centered around the challenges and opportunities of rural tourism, European rural areas, innovations, new technologies, networking, and human resource management. Over 300 participants had the opportunity to attend numerous lectures, inspiring panels, discussions, and interactive workshops.
REVIVE perfectly fits the slogan of the congress “Rural tourism: sustainable, digital, inclusive” and represents a real example of good practice in the field of rural development.
